There are two sewer sub-basins in the project area. Each requires a new pump station and an accompanying force main. The northern pump station is being designed as a regional pump station by Clean Water Services (CWS) to serve both the northern River Terrace sub-basin and a large portion of South Cooper Mountain in Beaverton. CWS is currently determining the exact location of this pump station and is prepared to act as quickly as possible to provide sewer service to this area. The southern sub-basin requires at least one pump station (because nearby pump stations in Bull Mountain do not have any additional capacity) and a long force main down Roy Rogers Rd and Beef Bend Rd. Even though the force main is lengthy, it is shallow and installation is anticipated to be straightforward.
