At the Stakeholder Working Group and Technical Advisory Committee meetings in February, committee and community members gathered to discuss the pros and cons of various revisions to the Transportation System Plan. The proposed changes are shown on this map, and include the following highlights:sticky wall

  1. Reclassification of the road parallel to Roy Rogers from ‘neighborhood route’ to ‘collector route.’
  2. A proposed signal at the intersection of the new collector route and Scholls Ferry Rd.
  3. A new neighborhood route, on the northern end of the new collector, to allow for internal circulation and road access for properties along Roy Rogers Rd.
  4. Increased curvature along a steep neighborhood route from Beef Bend Rd. to Bull Mountain Rd., as a traffic calming measure.
  5. Roundabouts at several intersections along the new collector and the curved neighborhood route.

Attendees spent time to understand the proposal and then posted their points along a wall under the appropriate category — Support, Neutral, or Oppose.
